Jeffrey Terreson

By evoking recognition of familiar materials and concepts through inventive means, Jeffrey Terreson’s work organically arouses an expansive perception. Terreson’s vision gathers inspiration from some of the 20th Century’s most groundbreaking post-war contemporary artists, the spiritual essence of the East as well as a resonance with nature. His unique process of gestural layers of oil paint imbues his art with an uninhibited textural style, vibrant with color and a seductive tactile quality. Distinct elements come together and, through their alchemy, a unity is created. The depth of purpose in each detail compels us to stay, communicate and connect with the work, ourselves and community.

Terreson’s work can be found in more than 150 private collections, including those of the United Nations, Mobil Oil and Ralph Lauren.
